Practical and Symbolic Logic are offered and covered in a one year course offering a thorough introduction to the principles and patterns of purposed thought as embodied in language spoken or written. You’ll learn to think very well, and very good too.
Rhetoric is a one year course in the art of communication, or the art of finding the possible means of persuasion in reference to the given situation. It is tremendously useful, and awfully fun.
The World History course covers the broad outlines of history with an emphasis on redemption history. This places Christ at the center of the course–in other words, at the end of the first year, and the beginning of the second year. We use a combination of original sources with a strong emphasis on placing events in time relation to each other so that the student attains a solid feel for the ebb and tide of history, and for the position of various events in their settings.
